If being part of our worship team is your calling there are many ways to plug in. We have a Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, Men's Ensemble and Contemporary Worship Band. If you are interested in any of these please contact Ginny Hughes or Ashley Smith.
Chancel Choir-The Chancel Choir is a non-auditioned group of singers who rehearse on Wednesday evenings (August-June) from 6:30pm-7:30pm. The choir is comprised of people of various ages and of all musical abilities; from professional musician to those who have little or no Choral experience. Aside from our most important role as worship leaders in the 11:00 service, we also minister in other ways: Special Church Services, Community Concerts, Small Ensembles and Solo work.
Handbell Choir- Handbell Choir is made up of a dedicated group of individuals who rehearse on Sunday evenings (September -May)from 4pm-5:30pm in the 3rd floor Handbell Room. It is comprised of people of various ages and musical skills. We perform periodically during the year in regular worship services and special services. We also participate in local Handbell Festivals.
HOPE Men's Ensemble- The HOPE Church Men's Ensemble is a non audition group of men who love to sing. Anyone and everyone is welcome in this group. The Ensemble sings a wide variety of music including: hymn arrangements, southern gospel, contemporary Christian, and others. There are no age requirements. This group has sung all over the Southeast since its formation in the early 90's. We meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30. For more information- contact Billy Hughes bhughes@hccommunity.org
Contemporary Worship Band-The Contemporary Worship Team is made up of a group of dedicated believers whose main purpose is to worship God in a corporate setting while encouraging and leading the congregation in an atmosphere where the presence of the Lord is welcome. If you have a talent to lead worship through vocals, instrumentation, sound, lighting or media, we would love to talk with you in detail about our ministry. We practice on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings prior to worship.
Fine Arts Academy- Private music lessons are now available through a ministry of HOPE Church. Lessons will be offered in piano, guitar, voice and organ on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Click Here for more information.
