NO MATTER WHAT
- You are welcome if you are a member of this church, or a member of not-much-of-anything.
- You are welcome if you have a lot of hang-ups, if you have made a lot of mistakes, or if you have always had your act together.
- You are welcome if you have a lot of money, or if you can’t make your car payment.
- You are welcome if you drank too much last night, or if alcohol has never touched your lips.
- You are welcome if you are using, or if you are clean.
- You are welcome if you are nice or just plain mean.
- You are welcome if you have caused a lot of pain, or if you have been hurt by someone you trust.
- You are welcome if you are happily married, blissfully single, or if you have been through a messy divorce.
- You are welcome if you have children, or no children at all.
- You are welcome if you can sing like an angel or if you can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
- You are welcome if you have never read the Bible, or if you memorize verses every day.
- You are welcome if you have not been to church since you were a child, or if you are here every time the door is open.
- You are welcome if you can’t stand church folks or if you are a “church folk.”
- You are welcome if you have a bone to pick with God or if Jesus is your best friend.
- You are welcome if you are a sinner or a saint, or a little bit of both.
